All file types can be sent via Nextgen Bluetooth, you just need to ensure they are supported by your recipients device. The majority of mobile phones will display the following file types:

- Animated images – Animated GIF files.
- Audio – WAV, MP3, MP4, RMF and Ringtones.

What is the range of Nextgen Bluetooth?
Nextgen Bluetooth can publish advertisements and campaigns within a range of up to 250 metres depending on which product solution is chosen. It should be noted that because the devices use a radio communications system they do not have to be in line of sight of each other however the distance is slightly reduced depending on the presence of obstacles such as windows and walls.
The majority of transmitters are built on a Class 1 category and settings can vary from 100 metres up to 500 metres depending on the device. Mobile phones are currently built on a Class 2 category which have a restricted distance and can vary between devices. It is therefore advisable to appreciate that when using Nextgen Bluetooth you are reliant on a Class 1 category talking to a Class 2 category with the weakest link in this chain being the latter device.
How many connections can Nextgen Bluetooth simultaneously make?
You have the capability of connecting up to 7 (seven) devices at any one time and once your message is transferred Nextgen Bluetooth will continue to go on searching for new devices.
What is the transfer speed between Nextgen Bluetooth and other devices?
Bluetooth wireless technology can achieve a transfer speed of 1Mbps (Megabit per second). Nextgen Bluetooth have found that a file size of 100kB/s (Kilobytes) takes on average 1 second to transfer data to other devices – with a standard animated GIF consisting of 50kB/s.
Are there any ongoing costs with Nextgen Bluetooth?
There are no ongoing or hidden costs associated with Nextgen Bluetooth. You pay a one off fee for the hardware and software package which then ensures that the system is completely owned by you.
Which operating systems are compatable with Nextgen Bluetooth?
Nextgen Bluetooth is designed to work with Microsoft Windows XP and Vista.
Is Proximity Marketing considered Spamming recipients mobile phones?
Bluetooth Proximity Marketing is NOT considered to be spam as its completely permission based which means the recipient has to physically ‘accept’ or ‘reject’ the invitation to receive your message. Nextgen Bluetooth also allows you to specify whether or not to retry connecting to the same mobile phone thus ensuring that you never bombard your potential customers.
