Nextgen is based in Bolton and began over 10 years ago developing varying software applications ranging from security suites to tracker solutions. We have always been at the forefront of software technology and its applications whilst priding ourselves on offering easy to use yet powerful solutions.
We started developing Bluetooth platform software solutions over 3 years ago notably with Merseyside Police during the Rhys Jones murder enquiry. Nextgen Bluetooth was deployed to broadcast to all Bluetooth enabled mobile phones any information relating to the case with a view to receiving feedback from around the local area.
This has now led to Nextgen Bluetooth receiving the coveted Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) Secured By Design Award for our Bluetooth Server and Unique Software products which has resulted in Nextgen being used in almost all Police Forces throughout the country as a public information tool to help solve crime.
